Ingredients: 1 cup chosen flour, warm water, salt (optional), 1 tbsp oil
Method: Knead soft dough using warm water. Rest 5-10 minutes. Roll between plastic sheets or pat with wet hands. Cook on tawa until brown spots appear. Brush with ghee.
Mix 1 cup foxtail flour + 1/2 cup palm jaggery powder + 1/4 cup cold-pressed coconut oil. Shape into discs. Bake at 170°C for 12-15 minutes.
Dry roast kodo flour for 2 minutes. Add moong dal, turmeric, ginger. Add 2 cups water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles. Serve warm with ghee.
Mix 2 tbsp little flour with 1 cup water. Cook until thickened. Add palm jaggery and cardamom. Eat warm – excellent for hormonal balance.
Dry roast barnyard flour. Temper mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, green chilies. Add 2 cups water. Slowly add roasted flour, stirring constantly. Cook 3-4 minutes.
Knead browntop flour with warm water to make soft dough. Roll thin rotis. Cook on tawa. Eat with ghee – excellent for blood pressure management.
